Kipp & Zonen's silicon pyranometer is now even more user-friendly. The SP Lite2, designed for all-weather measurement of solar radiation, has an integrated bubble level and adjustment screws for convenient installation.
The successful SP Lite2 is widely used to measure solar radiation in entry-level weather stations, particularly for agriculture and hydrology, and is supplied by well-known system integrators. SP Lite2 is also popular for routine monitoring of photo-voltaic solar energy installations and in building control systems for lighting and environmental control.
SP Lite2 can be directly connected to voltmeter or data logger. Direct readout in Watts per square meter (W/m²) can be derived from the measured voltage divided by the calibration coefficient. It is fitted with the Kipp & Zonen high quality yellow cable.
