This Lifetime Leadership award is sponsored by Johnson Controls, Inc. and is given in recognition of outstanding and long-term individual leadership in pursuing, promoting or implementing energy efficiency and/or renewable energy projects or efforts. The Building Efficiency Lifetime Leadership awards are presented during the Johnson Controls Green Tie Affair, held in conjunction with the annual Greenbuild Conference. The 2009 event will be held the evening of November 11, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona. The final award recipients will be selected based on demonstrated leadership over many years in one or more of the following categories:
The nomination deadline for the 2009 Building Efficiency Lifetime Leadership award is August 31, 2009. Nominations are open to anyone and will be judged on the merits of details included on the nomination form. Final selections will be made by a Johnson Controls Awards Committee, which will include Johnson Controls executive leadership and well-known energy efficiency and renewable energy leaders from outside of the company.
