Call for Presentations & Posters Now Open for November 09 Workforce Education Conference

February 23, 2009
The third national New Ideas in Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Workforce Education Conference will be held November 18 – 20, 2009 in Albany, New York. Be part of this event!

There are three ways you can participate in the 2009 Workforce Education Conference – you can submit a proposal for a Presentation, a proposal for a Poster, or become a sponsor.  Presentations will be grouped into 90-minute sessions organized around a common topic.  Posters will be on display starting with the Reception on the first night of the conference (November 19) and will continue to be shown throughout the second day.  Sponsorships are available giving your company or organization visibility before and during the conference.

This national conference will offer the most current information on instructional strategies, curricula development and best practices for training in the renewable energy and energy efficiency fields.

Since our first conference in 2006, the transition to a green economy is underway but a strong and well-trained workforce is essential for these rapidly growing clean energy markets.  Share your programs and projects with educators, trainers, government officials and industry from around the country.

The deadline for submitting your proposal is April 1, 2009.

We are particularly interested in presentations and posters covering the following topics:

  • Career Ladders and Lattices for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
