"Quality training is our goal," is the opening statement for a fast-paced video production showcasing the Interstate Renewable Energy Council's ISPQ Credentialing Program. Released this week, "Assuring Quality for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Training," the video introduces the process of obtaining IREC ISPQ accreditation or certification in an accessible, informative and yes, fun, format.
“Potential applicants often have many questions about the application and assessment process,” states Pat Fox, IREC’s Director of Operations. “We wanted a fresh new way to present what can sometimes be an intimidating body of knowledge. Viewers can get a lot of information from the video in an easy and enjoyable three minutes.”
The IREC ISPQ international framework is used to assess content, quality, and resources across a broad range of renewable energy, energy efficiency and weatherization training programs. This process leads to a recognized best practice standard for what is being taught and by whom. IREC ISPQ encourages quality training in an environment of continuous improvement.
