This 7 hour course provides a thorough introduction to solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and design. Geared towards professional engineers, architects, builders (commercial and residential) and other licensed professionals, PV601 teaches participants about the fast-growing PV industry and how they can offer PV integration services to their clients. Developed and taught by NABCEP certified PV installers, PV601 covers the various PV cell technologies, equipment and design requirements necessary to build a successful PV array. This course is recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and qualifies for 7.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units). It lasts from 8:00-4:00 including a one-hour lunch break.
