On Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, Texas-based solar educator ImagineSolar is hosting their popular 1-day solar lab course at their Austin solar field lab from 8 AM to 5 PM.

This PV201eLAB allows participants to get a fast-start understanding of the tools and technologies driving the growth of the solar industry.  Participants will:

  • Build & commission a complete grid-tied solar PV (photovoltaic) system
  • Test various PV module technologies, including thin-film
  • Practice safety & PV system mounting methods
  • Work with balance-of-system components
