The deadline for submitting abstracts for the HydroVision India 2012 event has been extended to November 11, 2011.

HydroVision India will bring together leading industry experts to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of energy and the environment within the India and Central Asia region.

The event is co-located with POWER-GEN India & Central Asia and Renewable Energy World India. Following on from the success of 2011, these events are expected to attract more than 50 speakers, 7,000 delegates and exhibitors and 270 exhibiting companies from 41 countries.

Paper topics can include:

-- Strategic topics, such as financing, policy and regulation, and regional issues; or

-- Technical topics, such as new equipment design, appropriate dam engineering for the Indian hydropower landscape, grid connection/operation/management, operation and maintenance, enhancing existing assets, sustainability, rural electrification, pumped storage, and marine and tidal.

Once an abstract is chosen, the final manuscript must be submitted by March 16, 2012.
