Milwaukee, WI, August 17, 2011 – Helios Solar Works, a manufacturer of mono-crystalline PV modules, announced today that modules for a 5 MW utility scale solar park were installed and connected by Sunstroom. The project was constructed in five weeks, becoming operational in July, 2011. Helios Solar Works, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Heliene of Badalona, Spain are alliance partners and delivered nearly 20,000 60-cell modules.
Steve Ostrenga, CEO of Helios Solar Works, stated “we are excited to be part of one of the largest solar installations in the UK and to be working with a market leader like Sunstroom. To build, ship, install and commission a system of that size in a short time period is a tribute to Sunstroom’s capabilities.” Ostrenga also added, that “this is evidence that the Alliance with Spain, France and Canada adds value to our customers by delivering scale in a short cycle time.” .”
