Ledbetter will direct groSolar’s new distribution activities and installer support programs in Southern California.
From groSolar’s new distribution office in San Diego, Ledbetter will lead the company’s efforts to deliver high-value distribution, training, development services and support programs to Southern California dealers serving the residential and commercial solar electric and solar hot water systems.
Mark, a San Diego native, worked his way through San Diego University as a journeyman electrician and obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduation he spent seven years working as a commercial electrician, followed by 11 years supporting contractors and building solar dealer networks in California and the Southeast.
Mark’s work experience, and his recent certification as an NAHB green building professional, uniquely qualifies him to further establish groSolar’s reputation as the premier solar distributor in North America.
“groSolar delivers the best solar energy systems in the business, and at a time when the country needs to shift its energy paradigm to renewables, our company is poised to deliver solutions which support the growth and success of our dealers” Mark says. “My job is to make sure dealers get the high-quality products and support they need to expand their businesses.”
Mark will work from a home office and report to groSolar’s new distribution site in San Diego. His wife and two children, who now live in Georgia, will join him in California after the school year ends.
“California is an important distribution market for groSolar. and we are committed to delivering industry leading products and services to our dealers. I am thrilled that Mark has joined our growing team in California.,. His skills and experience will give our dealers a notable competitive advantage,” said Paul DeKleermaeker, VP of Distribution Sales for groSolar.
