National Sales Veteran Kurt Luecke Brings Expertise to groSolar's mid-Atlantic region
June 25, 2009 JESSUP, Md. – National solar leader groSolar announced today that Kurt Luecke is joining the groSolar team in Jessup. Luecke has accepted the position of regional sales manager, and will oversee all residential and commercial direct sales in the mid-Atlantic region. Luecke had been living and working in Colorado for the past 20 years and moved across the country from the Denver area for the opportunity to work with one of the premiere residential and commercial solar distributors in the nation.
"I've seen a lot of change over the past 28 years," said Luecke. "The most important thing in this business is to keep learning and adapting. No matter what you are selling, never stop learning."
“I recently decided that I wanted to focus professionally on alternative energy sales,” he said. “When I researched the major players in the industry, groSolar was at the top of the list. I consider this position a tremendous opportunity to make a positive impact on climate change and educate people that solar is simple and convenient.” The 51-year-old Michigan native has over 25 years of experience in national & regional sales management and direct sales management. Luecke previously worked for iWired Inc, a low voltage wiring integrator, where he expanded the company’s sales scope to commercial construction opportunities and increased revenue by eighty percent per year in his first four years. “I’ve seen a lot of change over the past 28 years,” said Luecke. “The most important thing in this business is to keep learning and adapting. No matter what you are selling, never stop learning.” Luecke joins a company that has seen consecutive years of exponential growth.
