Romania now has 3GW of wind power on the horizon, made up of the current 1.7GW installed and a further 1.3GW which should be installed in 2013. The Green Certificate scheme for wind producers will be held till 2017 and will give generators a generous additional stream of revenue of between €27 and €55 per MW of energy produced.
