The town hall of Landover Hills in Prince George's County of Maryland took a decisive step towards a greener future by installing a grid tied solar PV system to aid its energy usage. It has set an example for the community and similar town halls across the United States of America. The system was designed, installed, and commissioned by GreenBrilliance

 

GreenBrilliance, a leading turnkey solar solution provider in Mid Atlantic USA, proudly announces successful installation and commissioning of 2.16 kW grid interactive solar PV system for the town hall of Landover Hills in Prince George’s County -Maryland, USA.  Landover Hills town hall took a significant step towards going green and reducing its carbon footprint by choosing to install a solar system that would provide green energy to the town hall.
GreenBrilliance partnered with Bhanot Engineers, a minority business certified by Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and designed, installed, and delivered the system. The system is a grid-tied roof mount, engineered with 240 watt solar modules and powered by micro inverters. DC output from the solar modules is passed through microinveters for conversion to AC current. AC output from the inverters is fed into the main electrical panel. Unused energy/electricity is fed back into the grid under the net metering program. The usable space on the roof for a solar array limited the size of the system however the foresight of the town hall management is evident in their significant step towards going green.
