National solar distributor Session Solar announced that it will close its wholesale division at the end of 2012 to focus exclusively on its solar mounting systems division, Creotecc.
Creotecc US, which has been a subsidiary of Session Solar since 2009, is also one of Europe’s leading mounting system manufacturers, with over 600 MW installed globally.
The growing popularity of Creotecc’s clamp-free mounting solutions among U.S. installers prompted the strategic organizational shift from wholesales to mounting systems.
“We understand the tight margins at play in the U.S. solar market, and believe that our mounting systems are a real game changer. With clamp-free panelization, labor is 50% faster and our clients see the savings immediately,” says Creotecc CEO Elmar Niewerth. “In addition, our lay-in design significantly reduces stress on the modules, which prolongs the life of the array.”
Creotecc residential, commercial and utility-scale mounting solutions are made in America and supported by a team of in-house engineers and technical sales specialists.
Session Solar does not plan to make any staff reductions and will shift all employees to the Creotecc division by the end of the year. Session Solar is providing their clients with personal introductions to other solar distributors upon request, and offering closeout specials on wholesale inventory.
With over 600 MW installed worldwide, Creotecc clamp-free mounting solutions for residential, commercial and utility applications are engineered to provide superior module retention without the use of clamps, thereby accelerating installation times by 50%. Creotecc has been a leading European mounting systems manufacturer for over a decade, and has offered its innovative product lines made in the USA since 2009.
