Admirals Bank to Sponsor Local Educational Events for Solarize Massachusetts Program

Charlie Angione
July 20, 2012

Admirals Bank, the leading national lender of the FHA Title-I Home Improvement Loan and innovator of Home Energy Step Down Financing, has signed on to sponsor and help educate multiple communities for the Solarize Massachusetts project. Seventeen Massachusetts communities were awarded to participate. Admirals Bank will be a presenter and resource for homeowners to better understand their financial options for solar ownership in the towns of Hopkinton, Millbury, and Sutton. The seventeen communities that have been awarded participation in Solarize Mass are Acton, Arlington, Boston, Hopkinton, Melrose, Mendon, Montague, Newburyport, Palmer, Pittsfield, Lenox, Shirley, Millbury, Sutton, Wayland, Sudbury, and Lincoln.

The Admirals Bank Business Development Officers and Solar Financing Experts will be attending multiple town gatherings to educate home owners on the Home Energy Step Down Financing Program.  These educational seminars will be an opportunity for home owners to obtain financing information, ask questions, and personally meet with the Bank’s experts.

“It’s all about the level of service we provide our customers,” states Patrick Murphy, Business Development Officer and Solar Financing Expert of Admirals Bank. “We understand this field, and continuously strive to educate homeowners to make the right loan decisions based on their individual needs.”

For more information on the Home Energy Step Down Financing Program please call 800-715-8472.   All loans are subject to credit approval.

About Admirals Bank

About Solarize Mass

Solarize Mass – a statewide program launched by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center- seeks to provide Massachusetts homeowners and business owners with an incentive to consider solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Through educational presentations, grassroots organizing, community engagement, and a critical mass incentive, the program hopes to help Massachusetts reach Governor Duval Patrick’s goal of 250 megawatts of solar PV installed by 2017. As a way to help reach Governor Patrick’s goal, the program offers a buying in bulk program, whereby the installation cost of solar PV declines as the amount of contracted capacity in each town increases.  This allows for solar PV to become more affordable, while, at the same time, providing residents with an incentive to encourage their neighbors to get solar PV.  To learn more about Solarize Mass please visit www.solarizemass.com.
