The Acterra Group is happy to announce they have joined the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO).

The Acterra Group, Inc. has named Jerry Schueller General Manager of our Kieler, Wisconsin office effective January 4th. Jerry comes to Acterra with over 20 years of commercial, industrial, and petroleum equipment construction. Schueller will be responsible for managing the day to day activities at Acterra's Kieler Branch, as well as utilizing his strong leadership skills toward business development, management of development & construction projects, increasing the Acterra customer base, and the general overall success of the Kieler Branch.

Acterra Group, Inc. of Marion, Iowa, an energy development firm, was contracted by the State of Iowa Board of Regents on behalf of the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) to perform a wind energy feasibility study. Acterra investigated the technical and economic viability of installing distributed wind energy at UNI's campus in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The report also evaluated the site, wind resources, permitting issues, visual and community impact and the project economics. The initial study has been completed and is currently under review by UNI for future development. The project is expected to be constructed in 2010.
