Very interesting podcast. What resonated with me the most is the fact that Iceland actually learned a lesson from the 1970 oil crisis and used that event as a motivator to move towards clean energy. Unlike the USA which forgot the crisis and made very minimal changes to the energy policy. Iceland has got a leading grasp on a skill that will be in very high demand moving forward and will be a foundation to help them overcome the economic crisis they face today. By the way, blue lagoon looks amazing and the fact that its a byproduct of energy generation is just unreal!
