Lots of us don't have iPods. It would be nice if the script could be made available on this site. Thank you

If you really want to enjoy the extra benefit of podcasts, you can get software (itunes being the most common) that will upload the program automatically for you. For example, we put our podcasts on this website, but we also put them on an RSS feed, which stands for Really Simple Syndication. Because we've put our feed onto itunes and a variety of other aggregators, the software will grab our newest podcast as soon as it goes onto our feed.

All you have to do is search for "Inside Renewable Energy" on itunes and click "subscribe." Once you've done that, our show will automatically download to your computer each time a new program is posted. It's truly a wonderful service. But if that sounds too complicated for you, I'd recommend just coming to our website and listening to it here.

Hopefully I've cleared up some misconceptions about podcasts. Now that you know you can listen, I hope you enjoy the show!

Yes, Kurt is exactly right. You don't need any kind of special listening device for a podcast!

This is actually a key issue that podcasters are dealing with today. Because the word "pod" is associated with Apple's ipod, many people believe that you need one to listen to a podcast. In fact, the "pod" in podcast stands for Personal On-Demand Digital.

As Kurt pointed out, you can simply click on the "Listen to Podcast" link on our web page and the program will play directly on your computer.
