IPCC Report: A Call for U.S. Lawmakers to Act

Peterborough, New Hampshire [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] According to the newly released report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the technological resources are available to solve the world's looming environmental problems. According to the IPCC, the answer is developing massive amounts of renewable energy, encouraging energy efficiency and creating a global greenhouse gas cap and trade system. So, the solutions are in front of us, but how will U.S. lawmakers respond to the challenges at hand? We'll have a report on whether the talk in Washington can translate into action.

tim-economu-23341 May 11, 2007 Good status report on 4 months of living with California Solar Inititive, sounds like it needs fixing so that the solar business can get back on track. Question I have is that Washingtons production credit has received no report since it was first passed a year ago, and this to my knowledge is better than California's... How about an update on Wa state solar economy, and how the new credits are working?? Thanks, Tim E
