Congratulation Mr. Mahesh Bhave on this article. I am involved with Batteries and PV Solar and had some similar concepts. Urban/Rural Electricity Shortage can be met by AMUL Pattern Easily. We have a Mico Carbon Battery which has the attributes required for bringing down per kwh cost of storage. www.fireflyenergy.com is the website. One important in-gradient is from agricultural produce.

Harinergy Renewables is pleased to introduce itself as a futuristic thinking research and development unit, working on unbroken grounds in renewable energy. The Patent protected 10KW to 100KW units are in the same category for decentralised generation and distribution of energy without any dependence on climatic or geographical uncertainties faced by wind and hydro electric systems. Initial installation cost as well as generation cost per unit of energy produced is lowest as compared to coal, gas and oil, not to talk of the generation cost from wind, solar, or any other renewable source . We can assure that our method of rural power generation is going to be a game changer in renewable energy generation for electrifying remote and unconnected areas of the Country.

We share the vision and will be delighted to co-operate in implementing it. We already have a rural network for self-reliant empowerment (swaraj) for experimenting in alternative development. Recently an initiative in frugal innovation for solar era advent with young engineers has also been made in Kerala. Through it a lighting system has been developed and installed already. We invite participation by like-minded people for a global initiative . I am an alumnus of UCBerkeley(Ph.D.,'71), tatsatpanicker@gmail.com.
