Poland Moving to Feed-in Tariffs

Any move by the generally conservative Polish government to move away from its troubled system of Tradable Green Certificates and toward feed-in tariffs is potentially groundbreaking.

Strange, the table shows no tariffs for small solar, or large wind. Are the tariffs for these categories still unknown, or will these not be supported by FiTs?

The tariff for large solar, seems rather high, compared with the German FiT, but maybe that is to compensate for the shorter duration of the support (20 years in Germany).

I read a couple of years ago that Poland received 7.8 billion euros to increase their use of solar energy by 50 times from the level they had already reached at that point. I also have heard that it has taken over a year to get to the point where the invidual projects have been put together and the allocation of the funds have been established. I would imagine this feed in tariff is one of the ways Poland is going to extend their solar use.
I have been lobbying in Estonia for our government to get EU support to allow Estonian farmers to produce clean solar energy into the European energy grid. It is nice to see Poland is moving in the right direction moving away from fossil fuel while we here in Estonia are still looking for ways to continue our oil shale production. Everything isnt all bad here, we are putting up the first 100kW solar proof of concept park with 70% Estonian environmental ministry and Kredex funding. PS
Anyone have any dealings with Universal Energy from China that sells pv panels and solar vacume tubes? We at Energy Smart ordered a container full of vacume tubes which was supposedly send out of the factory on July 5th, we paid in full for it and now havent heard from the agent, no one responds to emails or answers the phone. Universal Energy has an office in France, but Universal Energy is a Chinese company. We would appreciate a cofirmation for receiving payment by the company, and be given the container documentation and the arrival date, which was supposed to be done a week after payment.
I sure hope we havent been taken..

I'm sorry to say, but this article is for the most part, a load of boloney - both misinformation and false judgement.

1. The Act was presented, but it was never confirmed as an offcial legislative proposal. And it has not been introduced.
2. the plan is not to move to FiTs, but rather introduce FiTs for prosumers and microgeneration, keeping a Green Certificate system for the larger producers.
3. "through its long association with émigré communities in the U.S., and its early rebellion against Soviet rule, became the poster child of neoliberal "reforms" following the fall of Communism" - I suggest sticking to RE policies, and leaving amateur sociological analyses aside, because they are eyebrow-raising. The Polish neo-liberal twist is a regional trait, almost identical policies were adopted in all neighbouring states. What is important from the perspective of RE is rather the structure of the domestic economy and energy market.
4. The idea of introdcuing FiTs is greatly contested within the government, and PV will almost surely be excluded.
5. Czech Republic is about to introduce an ammendment which will retoractively cancel FiTs - so much for its regional leadership.
