More evidence that wind energy is an impotent power source that cannot compete without mandates and tariffs.

It's a plan to make energy expensive for the customers while denying the ability of small investors or utility customers to profit from wind energy.

IA already has the second largest amount of wind power of any state and the highest percentage of generation due to wind. Why does it now suddenly feel the need for an FIT? It looks like wind is already doing fine in IA without additional government intervention....
