United and Solazyme, Alaska and Dynamic Fuels hook up, as producers scramble to make fuel, raise cash, ratchet down costs. Will producers scale, or fail?

AliphaJet, Inc. (www.AliphaJet.com) announced that the company has developed and successfully demonstrated a highly cost-effective catalytic method for making jet biofuel from renewable products such as plant and animal triglycerides and/or fatty acids.
This new decarboxylation process for drop-in fuels looks to have strong backing and is lead by Jack Oswald of SynGest.

Given Jack's success with getting Honeywell on board with SynGest,(a biomass to NH3 + biochar process) I'm guessing this new process, out of the University of Louisville, maybe the real McCoy. He is looking to license, so hopefully Dynomotive, KiOR, or any Bio-Oil producers can plugin this process for tank ready fuels.

A Dynomotive Virgin;

Virgin Australia (ASX: VBA) is collaborating with Renewable Oil Corporation (ROC), Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation (DYMTF) and Future Farm Industries Co-operative Research Centre (FFI CRC) to develop a sustainable aviation biofuel that also has benefits for the Australian farming community and the environment.
