I like the idea of creating the microorganism, except, like modifying our food, will this critter by safe once it escapes into the wild?. I don't like the idea of putting more Frankenplants into the wild. Also, this means more energy and nutrients taken from the soil and waste put into the atmosphere. Better than oil, but not as good as rooftop or desert solar, wind, etc. at not messing up mother nature.
