August 24, 2011 -- Equipment supplier centrotherm photovoltaics AG will bundle its Solar Cell & Module segment into a wholly owned subsidiary to better interface with the photovoltaics manufacturing market, announced Robert M. Hartung, CEO and Management Board Spokesman of centrotherm photovoltaics AG.

As of September 1, centrotherm cell & module GmbH will take over centrotherm photovoltaics' Solar Cell & Module segment operations, including assets, processes and essential staff. The reorganization won't affect centrotherm photovoltaics' production units and sites.

Dr. Josef Haase (CEO) and Olaf Demuth (CFO) will manage centrotherm cell & module GmbH, which is to be based at Blaubeuren, Germany.

centrotherm photovoltaics AG makes technology and equipment for the photovoltaics sector, including turnkey lines and tools for silicon growth and processing crystalline solar cells and modules, and thin film modules.
