Geothermal Assesses Its Potential

The Geothermal Energy Association's annual report, issued in April, identified 3,633 to 4,050 MW of confirmed new geothermal power plant capacity under development in the United States.

'10 MW Hatch Geothermal Power Plant ' - When you publish this as 'truth' when the entire history of the Hatch plant is lie after lie after lie, you damage the renwable energy movement.
Please retract this lie, and tell the truth about the Hatch Plant. Just because someone else gives you a lie to publish does not absolve you of journalistic ethics.

I wonder how much research is being done as to where there are abandon oil wells that could be used as geothermal wells? We have drilled them all over this country. Surely some of them have been drilled in locations that could now tap into a hot pocket.
