As a residential and small-scale (<100kW) commercial integrator working exclusively with SolarWorld USA, I can say our supply of modules from the manufacturer is a significant constraint. I'd classify SolarWorld as a "Tier 1 supplier," but I'm just design nerd/ roof monkey. Me want modules!

Great Andrew! I think it is time to expand aggressively your market in order to reach the developing countries, especially to some African rural areas!!! Knowing that the prices are getting lower, I would like to welcome you in advance to Mozambique, in case you find interesting coming to us in order to improve lives of millions of Mozambicans, with special attention to rural families.

Seems the only way to take advantage of a situation as this is to co-op and bulk purchase GW style.

It is really regrettable to appreciate how much ignored became the main parameters or variables related to the PV real development as it could be for any product with features so particulars such as the PV obviously so related and dependent of the ENERGY POLICIES..
How could we explain that the Watt price it was 3.8 (CIF value ) € in Spain since early 2007 until 2009 ? and since 2010 until today the same watt ( from the same supplier ) it is in 1,45€......
could be a funny miracle of the PRODUCT ELASTICITY BEHAVE?....
But further more....could we expect that the consumers power market could stand a tariff when to the POWER MARKET STRUCTURE THE COST IT WAS €0,44€ per Kw/h ---- Could somebody who knows about energy that at this cost, this could be a real alternative to improve the future of the energy- link to environment advantages or prevent conventional fuels shortage -

- What it is clear that when the possibilities of abusing for politic purposes -( or speculative?) prevail over the use of responsible application of resources for subsidizing specific technologies in benefit of the general interest in terms of future we could as final result spoil the meaning of the full action.

- In my concept, Spain had been the best sample of something that never would had occur and therefor I believe that any one who is really interest should study carefully the case and obtain carefully his own conclusions..

- Just to facilitate the evaluation I would suggest, just to compare the basic requirement for construction new utilities in your particular market...for instance, where and how will you connect for evacuation?
- which will be the transport tension?
- which will be yr. price per Kw/h in yr local currency?- and for how long this will be kept?

I would ask to the funding executives to think for themselves how much it is pure opportunity business or real convictions based in serious feasability?
- what permits must you obtain to start construction?

From the perspective of a homeowner, the use of solar power will be increased as prices become more competitive. The issue of financing is very important. Policy adjustment with low interest loans to consumers for solar power installations, and increased use of leasing agreements can create additional demand for products.
