Prop 23 opponents live in the world of Oz. If they understood
anything about the dynamics of power production and side effect costs, they would know that solar is an unreliable and
costly and lousy way to produce grid power. Clean energy is NOT equivalent to solar energy. Nuclear power is far cleaner than solar, as is geothermal. The problem with Californians is that they're long on anal qualities and short on logic. I hope they do block the proposition - serves them right that they pay a lot more for power and still operate those fossil power plants. Only in California, bankrupt California. Sorry to hear you couldn't get the other 49 states to bail you out.

Would someone please post this for me in the main blog? It's a link to an article in the Washington Post today that deals with the problems our solar cooperatives are having with the local utility.

Thanks. Tom Kelly Mt. Pleasant Solar Cooperative (DC)

Certain utilities, oil companies auto companies and to some degree banks/investors are going to do all they can to stop competition. Your solar panel cuts into their profits. Sorry to hear that you are getting the run around.

This can't be good news for your power company. It would be good to see a web site exploring some the ploys that are being used by the powers that be, to try and circumvent new and existing installations, so users can share ideas.
