Let this be a message to all those who say "we mustn't subsidize renewables, we mustn't tax or cap CO2 emissions, we must stimulate innovation"

Innovation is not an island, you need an industry in which it is embedded. Simply rolling out capacity will create an industry and with it, mass production and profits that pay for R&D.

We can roll up our sleeves now or wait eternally for that silver bullet.

I just took Google a small wind project with an 11% ROI but they were't interested. hummm I wonder how much return they need. They wouldn't say.

I'm never using another search engine.
These guys ROCK ! Have you heard that the Dept. of Defense is getting into renewables also? If we are to stop exporting big oil money...think we could pay some debt off?

The company (Google) failed to find potential breakthroughs with low enough risk. The project, which started in 2007, will now focus on less revolutionary technologies.

I find it interesting that Bill Weihl, who heads Google's renewable energy team, would say such a thing.
Many revolutionary technologies exist today that will make windpower obsolete that are less risky.

Our company for instance has many times tried to show our so called revolutionary technology that makes windpower obsolete to Google and the Google VC company. It is as if they were Giants and they cannot see us little guys running around their feet.

If you are reading this Bill, here is our deal we make electricity on demand on location at 100% of capacity. Our 240 kW 320 amp three-phase unit cost less then 10 cents an hour to run, uses no solar or wind power, need no storage systems, uses no chemical reactions and it makes no CO2. Imagine our systems all over the east coast on land where power is consumed. Who would be buying windpower electrons when it cost 2 to 3 times more then our electrons made on location where consumed?
Talk about risk.

Bill if Google is looking for investment start at home. With no investment from Google we will install and maintain our equipment at your facilities and take your offices off the grid completely.
We will charge you 50% of your current charges and be your new power company.
It that low enough risk?

Attn.Mr.Weihl;
An application for patent to develope electrical power from tides is in its final stages.this patent has no moving parts submerged in water,and has the potential to supply all the power that the eastern seaboard requires.Bear with me a little longer.
