Kudos to Ron Pernick and Clint Wilder at Clean Edge for their latest, exceptional report. As executive search consultants in the renewable energy and cleantech space, I would also highly recommend to Renewable Energy World.com's readers their review of the second annual, Clean Tech Job Trends 2010. - Dawn Dzurilla, Founder & Managing Partner, Gaia Human Capital Consultants.

the report is great, period. Now convince the GOP , sceptic dem's and the majority of bonehead US Americans that it is doable, and the whole world will become a better and cleaner place.

Unless States allow the creation of jobs without restriction we will never see this sector grow. Electrical contractors who follow the NEC does not need (outsiders) telling state govt. who can and can not install with out their blessing. especially where the AHJ in the area where the job is performed has already inspected it and deemed it safe. That same State should not be preventing people qualified by delaying licensing in the field. Help people get back to work and provide guidance not a brick wall. My 2 cents.

In Mass, First Wind CEO and President is our Governor's appointed Green Jobs Czar.

Investigative Journalist Ira Stoll writes"

"First Wind Holdings LLC will get a $117 million loan guarantee from federal "stimulus" funds to finance the construction and start-up of a wind energy project in Kahuku, Hawaii, the federal Department of Energy announced Friday. Once complete, the project will create "six to ten" jobs, according to the Department of Energy. At $117 million, works out to a federally guaranteed loan of between $19.5 million and $11.7 million for each job created..."

I have said it before, try many different green technologies at the same time. In car racing they have teams, the chance of winning, is much better if you more than two cars why not have six or eight cars.
Trying to choose 1 card, out of 52 cards is difficult. Not so hard when the choice, is 1 out of 2.
All the different technologies offer green jobs. Jobs by the thousands, if not 100,000's of jobs. New jobs that a few years ago, had not even being thought of.
Years ago maybe 1800, a large part of the workforce worked on the land. Its reversing the trend now, so let us reverse again by looking at biomass.
Anaerobic digestion (AD)technologies, combined with gasification or pyrolysis (GoP) technologies. Can go a little way, to finding new power supplies.

Although some of the green jobs are temporary even they can help people make it by.
