Great! Can they downsize them for private homes?

Good thought. Downsize for private home use and make a swappable version for electric car use. Wind/solar charging system would be nice too. That way the oil, utility bank and auto monopolies all make room for the consumer.
The additional dollar value of the accumulated "free energy" will eventually create jobs and strengthen the economy.

Utilities can quit crying about the effect on the (presently dumb) grid because of the tie ins. The battery power will go directly into our homes and vehicles.
