Photon Energy is preparing to commence construction on a number of photovoltaic projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia representing close to 32 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity scheduled for completion in 2010.
The projects include:
The main technologies that will be used across these projects comprise of string inverters from SMA, central inverters from Advanced Energy, and poly- and mono-crystalline solar panels from Yingli Solar, Tianwei New Energy and Aide Solar, among others.
“We have tripled the size of our engineering team since the beginning of the year to meet the capacity needs of these projects. Despite a very rainy start to the season and some supply chain challenges, we have made steady progress towards preparing these projects for construction. We have the engineering talent and resources in place to construct and deliver top-quality turn-key solar power plants for our clients and for our own portfolio," said Jiøí Mazánek, head of engineering for Photon Engineering.
