When our public treasuries issue sound money such as genuine silver dollars, United States Notes backed by domestic hydrocarbon reserves, and appropriately valued Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) directly to individual (legally transparent) citizens, a free and fair market-based economy will expedite the transition from the suicidal petro-banking warfare racket to an efficient and productive economy that benefits everyone:

As long as we continue to insufficiently set renewable standards in this country, we will continue to lose these "green jobs" to other countries who have put a more aggressive stance towards renewable energy development. Although the U.S. is currently the leader in wind power, China and other Asian markets are poising themselves as taking the lead. We need to develop and energy policy that secures jobs and energy security for America.

There are high efficiency, low cost wind energy platforms, designed, and can be manufactured in the US, which can confer steeply dicounted electricty to large regions of the US. One needs an end to end solution, with benefits to the consumer. The US mfg cost w decent technology, and local logistics will provide these benefits. Else, the big competitors will not want their rice bowl upset. What I've found is little understanding of a modular (Start small, build out) complete Wind Energy solution, how to get Wind seated irrevocably. It aint just the technology and backing by a few previously successful technology / financial mavens.

Good Article Graham!

I would urge everyone reading this, especially those involved in the industry, to send their representatives in Congress an email urging them to push forth a Federal RES- GET THIS DONE! With the poll results at near 90% according to the good people at AWEA, this should be a done deal. There's little to no political downside; I can only guess that some nefarious special interest groups might be gumming up the process.

Sometimes this is that decelerate the development of some areas of life, but good politics and reasonable decisions can contribute to economic recovery. The focus should be on the established goals and implement them in accordance with the timetable of the action plan. Without referring to the above comments ... Conspiracy theories will always have a place, but it is reality and fact are the tangible projects.
