I think we people here in B.C. are getting bamboozeled by our mega broject obsessed Provincial Government. This province has yet to implement anything resembling a Feed In Tariff system. This in a province that is larger than Germany and France combined. With the ammount of coast line and mountain plateaus we have there are few signs of off shore or mountain wind projects. The near desert interior has little incentive for solar PV and the coast is not utilizing its extensive tidal power. Most of the power the dam will produce (if it goes through) will go to Alberta to help clean up the worlds dirtiest oil. Thats a good thing. Losing more of B.C.s beautiful valleys. I'm still morning the loss that resulted in Arrow lake. A beautifull farming and fruit producing valley with its hot springs changed forever. Sad
