CNPV Signs 36-MW Module Deal with Techbank

Under the terms of the strategic agreement, CNPV will supply Techbank with a total of 36 megawatts (MW) of PV modules from 2010 to 2012, which includes 10 MW of scheduled delivery during 2010. The remaining 12 and 14 MW of modules are scheduled for delivery in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

We are very pleased to expand our strategic partnership with CNPV, which will allow us to provide long-term superior solutions to the attractive solar market in Korea, especially to our important local power utility customers," said said Myung Oh, CEO and president of Techbank.

Earlier this year, CNPV entered into a long-term strategic partnership sales agreement with Delta Sud, a French project development and distribution company. Under the terms of that agreement, CNPV will supply Delta Sud with a total of 20 MW of PV modules from 2010 to 2012, which includes 2.50 MW of scheduled delivery during 2010. The remaining 7.50 MW and 10 MW are scheduled for delivery in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

Founded in 2006, CNPV produces ingots, wafers, cells and solar modules. Its modules have been certified to IEC61215, IEC61730, UL, and CE standards.
