The deal between Duke and SunEdison was originally announced in May, 2008.

There must be something wrong. 4 MW installed capacity in NC can produce 6 million kwh of electricity per year; 120 million kwh over 20 years (less something for degrad.). 16 MW installed capacity (peak) can produce 460 m kwh (overall completed plant). Pls correct me if I am wrong.

I'm confused. EnergyUnited, headquartered in Statesville, N.C., has an almost identical project in Alexander County. Are you sure it's not EnergyUnited (not Duke Energy) this project is about?

According to their news release, the EnergyUnited solar farm is scheduled to generate 16 million kilowatt hours per year.
