acording to your data ,China ,and India did not install much 2009 ( thought China planned to double its capacity this year to 240000 MW and so did India ,any news about why they stalled?)
It seems also Germany and Spain remain close to 2008 production levels
I read of Denmark adding the largest offshore park worldwide ,that should have added some MW to theirs installed capacity
This report seems a little vague, sorry

What Mr. Hübner did not say is that Brazil had planned antoher auction, which was supposed to take place just after, where many coalfired and gas powerplants easily obtained implementation licenses and were read to insert a lot more dirty power inton the grid. Fortunately the auction was cancelled, probably due to pressure from the Compenhagen event.

Counting the words saying something really new about the renewable energy situation specifically Wind in Brazil, there is not much essential in the article. Nothing about future perspective and citing potential of wind energy production from a superficial 2001 research sounds a little bit odd. Nothing about industries settling down in the country (or why not doing so), detailed results of the former and last auction, companies involved, law improvements and back draws.
