It would be ok if there was such a thing as anthropogenic global warming. Man puts out 27 billion tons of C02/yr into an atmosphere that already has 3,600 billion tons of C02...or only 0.75% of all C02 is man made ! The major greenhouse gas is water vapor and clouds...as much as 90% to total effects. the 3,600 billion tons accounts for about 2% of green house effects, CH4, NOx, SF6, 03, fluorocarbons, sulfur oxides (S02), account for the other 8%. The numbers just don't add up.

Remember, that 2% C02 effects is caused by 3,600 billion tons of C02 and man's contribution of 0.75% of that? Miniscule amount. Not to mention the other factors like newly discovered plant produced isoprene causing haze. Or the 3 metric gigatons of C02 sequestered each year as oceanic virus' and phage remove up to 20% of all microbial life forms in the ocean. Or the prolonged solar minimum we're experiencing? The usual minimum lasts 485 days, so far since 2004, its been 746 days.

And the skewed IPCC "scientific" panel. No skeptical scientist was included? So of course, you can get a 90% consensus rate of AGW by the IPCC. And this skewed, mislead, misinformed, and economically naive group is going to legislate world behavior? Something really is rotten in the state of Demark.....

Hello from NE Wisconsin:

There is alot of resentment about a carbon cap and trade system. I wonder why it is even part of an energy bill? If there is a national renewable portfolio standard of 20% by 2020 or 25% by 2025, that alone will wipe out generating capacity from coal burning plants. Or, am I being too simplistic?
