Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. (RES Americas) announced the on-time completion of balance-of-plant (BOP) for the Harvest Wind Project. Harvest Wind, located in Klickitat County, Washington, consists of 43 Siemens 2.3 megawatt (MW) wind turbines and will provide 99 MW of renewable energy.
RES Americas has been developing, constructing, owning and operating renewable energy projects for more than a decade.
RES America Construction Inc. served as the BOP construction contractor. The project is owned by several entities including Public Utility District No. 1 of Cowlitz County, Eugene Water & Electric Board, Lakeview Green Energy Inc. and Peninsula Light Company.
“We approach every project with the goal of finishing on schedule and within budget.” said Chris Hills, VP of Construction Projects for RES Americas. “We met both goals for Harvest Wind by working proactively and maintaining a close relationship with the project owners.”
