Following the project's approval, AMSC is expected to provide transmission planning services, superconductor wire and the superconductor cable system for the project.

I have been waiting for AMSC to come through with this technology for some time. This is an important breakthrough in transmission, for technical reasons, DC vs AC transmision and voltage losses due to corona losses. The costs of temperature regulation are involved, however. I am curious how this is handled. What are the limitations?
