Solea Starts Construction on 1.3-MW PV System

Plattling, Germany [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Solea AG has started building a 1.3-megawatt (MW) solar project in Neuburg am Inn in the district of Passau in southern Germany. The investor and operator of the project is Chorus CleanTech Solar GmbH.
The project is the first in a series of projects being undertaken by the two companies.
The plant will cover an area of 3.6 hectares and has a capacity of 1.3 MW. It will incorporate 7,600 mono-crystalline Solea SM 175 modules. The facility will deliver approximately 1,400 megawatt-hours of clean energy yearly to the grid, operated by E.ON Bayern AG. The mounting system for the facility is being supplied by PV-EIWA Systemtechnik GmbH, a sister company of Solea AG. |
