Recent activity indicates that UPC that changed its name to "First Wind" that 7/14/09 operates a subsidiary of Caliber Energy. Yet, Caliber Energy 7/14/09 is no longer Caliber Energy, it is Navajo Wind Energy Corp. PINKSHEETS: CLBN.

Caliber Energy Inc. announced that on May 12, 2009, the company launched the new Xinjiang Wind Farm Corporate Office. Will Caliber Energy; AKA Navajo Energy; AKA UPC; AKA First Wind; AKA Canadaigua Power Partners, LLC; ( to whom DOE has granted $52,352,334 and 22,296,495) pack and leave for Xinjiang with U.S. taxpayer dollars?

Please do your research before posting. First Wind Energy Systems makes small wind turbines. It is not the same company as wind farm developer FirstWind (formerly UPC). The corporate relationship you imply does not exist.

"According to a March 26, 2008 report by the Daily News in Bangor, Maine, UPC Wind president and CEO Paul Gaynor said the company would do a better job in the future about letting local residents know what to expect from wind farms.

"I know there was an expectation (in Mars Hill) about what these were going to sound like," Gaynor told the Daily News. "These are big structures and they do make sound."

Shortly after Gaynor spoke to the Maine newspaper, the firm changed its name to First Wind. It was formerly known as Global Winds Harvest/UPC.
