Solar Roof on Israel's Carmey Avdat Winery

Ra'anana, Israel [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Sunday Energy Ltd and winery group Carmey Avdat have announced the completion of a 50 kWp solar installation on the roof of the winery, the first such project on a winery in Israel.

“Thanks to Sunday’s excellent work installing our solar-roof, our winery, starting with the 2009 vintage, will produce wine with the help of solar energy,” said Eyal Yizraeli, founder of the Carmey Avdat winery.
