Leaders of the American Wind Energy Association have sold out the independent renewable energy industry yet again to get these renewable (wind) electricity standards. The deal comes with a side arrangement with utility monopolies to build mainly only windpower. In addition, the windpower is implemented using competitive bidding awarded with subjective criteria judged by the utilities so they can favor their own company, affiliates and their co-conspirators at AWEA. Utilities also like the deal because intermittent windpower production does not threaten their hopes to build base-load nuclear plants. Our biomass energy company only supports renewable electricity standards IF they are passed along with a federal requirement that ALL states set feed-in tariffs for ALL renewable energies (like Europe does).
