M+W Zander completes Malaysia factory for Q-Cells

Stuttgart, Germany [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Engineering company M+W Zander has designed and built a new solar cell manufacturing facility for Q-Cells in Malaysia.

The three-storey solar-cell factory for Q-Cells, which has eight production lines, has an annual output of 500 MWp.

In addition to the site master planning M+W Zander was also responsible for design and co-ordination of the process media systems within the newly developed science park.

Work for the site master plan began in February 2008.
