Sputnik's Inverters Certified for Portugal

At the end of February, the four devices of the SolarMax S series, with nominal outputs from 1.8 to 4.6 kilowatts, received the official certificate from the Portuguese government office.

“In particular, Portugal promotes small solar power plants with very high rates of remuneration,” said Fernando Sánchez García, managing director of Sputnik’s Spanish branch office in Madrid.

Sputnik has just released a string inverter with a nominal output of 3.68 kilowatts that is designed specifically for the Portuguese market. Sputnik Engineering will supply the Portuguese market from its Spanish subsidiary, which was established in October of 2006.
