I think the big advantage to the wind generators, is we have a system that can feed power directly into the tranmission/power grid. The solar cell systems will always be for localized power adding systems.

It is good news to see that China is one of the world leaders in Wind Turbine power. With a healthy China, it means 1/3 of the world is healthy.

Instead of reducing power usage, with the renewable sourceqs being developed I think the world can keep using as much electrical power as it wants to, and that in turn should keep the world and local economies in the black.
