Washington, D.C., United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] In his remarks to the National Clean Energy Project forum at the Newseum this week, U.S. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) announced that he will introduce a bill that will make it easier to carry renewable energy from often remote locations to urban centers in need of power. Reid said that the bill charts a better path to a cleaner, greener and smarter national transmission policy, without sacrificing reliability or affordability. Overhauling how renewable energy is delivered will create good-paying jobs in areas of Nevada that most need them. |
