BioGasol Is Awarded 5M Liter Ethanol Projects

Copenhagen, Denmark [RenewableEnergyWorld.com]

The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) under the Danish Energy Agency has awarded BioGasol a grant for a demonstration plant with a capacity of 5 million liters of ethanol per year.

"We are very happy with this grant. In addition to the grant itself we are proud of the verdict from the EUDP Board that confirms the potential of our technology."

The grant is valued at €10.4 million The total project costs are €35 million. In December 2007 BioGasol received a €3.6 million grant from EUDP for the 1st phase of the project and combined with this new grant BioGasol’s chances of commercial success have increased significantly.
