The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) under the Danish Energy Agency has awarded BioGasol a grant for a demonstration plant with a capacity of 5 million liters of ethanol per year.

The grant is valued at €10.4 million The total project costs are €35 million. In December 2007 BioGasol received a €3.6 million grant from EUDP for the 1st phase of the project and combined with this new grant BioGasol’s chances of commercial success have increased significantly.
