I agree. Unless RE companies sell products they haven't got (which would be found out much quicker than the current mortgage crisis) it is unlikely to create a bubble. Given that many of the people involved in cleantech have gone into it because of their worry over energy supply or environmental impact, or both, I find it unlikely that they would be ruthless enough to do that.

However, the price of PV can't come down until silicon supply and then module supply increases. This would probably happen much quicker if governments around the world implemented some rigorous energy laws/tariffs and stuck to them. Developers, householders, and investors would know what the rules/benefits were and would act accordingly!

i agree with second para of Ms Natasha Long. All Govt. must join to make rules/laws.
