We were meticulous in the way we approached the development of this wind farm, which we believe will be used as a model for future wind farms around the country.

More of the same. Everyone wants renewable energy as long as NIMBY rules are followed.

We need to find a way to express the point, that wind and solar will save the planet. Not harm animals, or enviroment. Why is it hard to understand?
Stop wasting money on court proceedings and lawyers, and spend it on
the future.

Has anybody noticed that foreigners are taking over
in Texas?
Babcock & Brown is from Australia.
Cintra of the TransTexas Corridor is from Spain
Shell up in Briscoe County is from the Netherlands
BP is from England
and T. Boone Pickens who, I suspect, is from the planet Take-over-You-all

Will this wind farm kill a lot of migrating birds? Raptors by the millions pass very close to this site, especially in the autumn, and there is no mention of any mitigation if raptors are being killed. This is a great example of rushing to a renewable energy without sufficient regard for the environment. And just why is the wind energy industry in Texas not regulated like oil, gas, coal, and nuclear? That is probably because of the "influence" of Boone Pickens and others in west Texas with the PUC and Texas legislature.

The problem with renewable energy is that it is going ahead with such speed that the consequences are not clear.
